Whole Cell Bread-Non-inflammatory crushed wheat

Whole Cell Bread

Baked Goods: Bread, Dairy Free

This 2 lb 3 oz loaf of bread is non-inflammatory and made from organic, NON-GMO hard red wheat. This is like the original natural bread that our great, great grandmothers made in a wood-burning stove. WHOLE CELL BREAD has up to a 3 week shelf life and is all natural nutrition. This bread has NO additives, chemicals or preservatives. What it does have is only six (6) ingredients: wheat, water, honey, flax, salt and yeast. WHOLE CELL BREAD uses patented machines and a patented process in which the wheat is gently crushed to keep the cells intact. The innermost cells are crushed, YET not broken, in this patented process. In normal processing of wheat, using hammer mills and cutting knives, the cell is opened and that allows gluenin and gliadin to merge in the presence of oxygen which makes gluten. Our process does not open the cell which makes it a complex carbohydrate and thereby reduces the likelihood of inflammation. WHOLE CELL BREAD is a locally family owned business. Our sole focus is providing the consumer with a 100% healthy bread choice that is non-inflammatory. Eating non-inflammatory foods is vital to our diet. Healthy, nourishing and natural foods are what our ancestors ate ages ago and they did not have all the diseases we see today.USA / Indiana / Tippecanoe County

Q: I LOVE your bread!!

A: Thank you so much!

Q: Just wanted to tell you that I LOVE this bread as well!! Thank you so much for taking the time to make it available!!

A: Thank you for the kind words. Our motivation is to provide delicious healthy bread that can be eaten by those, including some family members, who can not tolerate other breads. Some look at this bread as "their ice cream".

Q: is the wheat your use and the other ingredients as well organic?

A: The wheat and flax were certified organic. They still raise it the same but do not get the government label because it's a costly process that requires an annual payment to the government to keep the organic label.

Q: How many carbs per slice?

A: 28g of carbs per slice including 5g of fiber. These are complex carbs because the crushed wheat is not refined making it NON-INFLAMMATORY.

Q: Is this bread ok to eat if I am gluten free?

A: The bread has gluten in it but it remains inactive due to the wheat being gently crushed versus ground. Many people with gluten intolerance have eaten the bread without any issues. See the website for some testimonies.

Q: I love your bread! Do you make any type of buns?

A: We are certainly glad to hear you love the bread. We hear that often. We only have the bread at this point in time. Thanks for asking.

Q: I did some research on this type of bread and found a web site that sells this bread at whole cellared.com. Are you connected with this company. I am trying a loaf. My husband is diabetic and the site said this bread works better for diabetic.

A: Diabetics eat this and some have actually decreased their blood sugar. The bread digests as a complex carbohydrate because the wheat is merely crushed with no additives. Our website is: WholeCellBread.com. We certainly welcome your feedback.

format_quoteLove this bread! Perfect for toast in the morning, but for an evening treat try toasting it with butter and brown sugar. It's an excellent product in and of itself, with the added bonus of being a product that is accessible for people who have trouble with gluten. The smell alone is heavenly!format_quote

format_quoteI have a wheat intolerance and I had to give this a try. The texture and flavor of this bread is fabulous. I found that if I have it twice a week, I don't get any unpleasant side effects. And it makes fabulous French toast!format_quote

format_quoteI was pleasantly surprised by this bread. It's more dense than the normal bread, but the flavor is just like regular bread but with better ingredients! Definitely good toasted with some butter and jelly. format_quote

format_quoteI don’t know about anti-inflammatory or anything else. What I know is, this bread is delicious. I don’t know if I have gluten problems, but I know this bread does not give me any of the problemsI have with other breads. I have NO issues with this bread, it is delicious. It lasts. I am grateful to have tried it. It is worth every penny. Thank you for this- I had never heard of it.format_quote
