This 2 lb 3 oz loaf of bread is non-inflammatory and made from organic, NON-GMO hard red wheat. This is like the original natural bread that our great, great grandmothers made in a wood-burning stove. WHOLE CELL BREAD has up to a 3 week shelf life and is all natural nutrition. This bread has NO additives, chemicals or preservatives. What it does have is only six (6) ingredients: wheat, water, honey, flax, salt and yeast. WHOLE CELL BREAD uses patented machines and a patented process in which the wheat is gently crushed to keep the cells intact. The innermost cells are crushed, YET not broken, in this patented process. In normal processing of wheat, using hammer mills and cutting knives, the cell is opened and that allows gluenin and gliadin to merge in the presence of oxygen which makes gluten. Our process does not open the cell which makes it a complex carbohydrate and thereby reduces the likelihood of inflammation. WHOLE CELL BREAD is a locally family owned business.
